Since launching in 2021, Brouhaha Entertainment has quickly become one of the world’s most prolific independant production companies. In the last four years Brouhaha has produced eight feature films and an acclaimed television series.
These include Firebrand starring Alicia Vikander and Jude Law, Lee with Oscar winner Kate Winslet playing the iconic Lee Miller; The Convert directed by Lee Tamahori, starring Guy Pearce; and Dangerous Animals, the first shark horror film to be selected for the Directors’ Fortnight at Festival de Cannes. Brouhaha adapted the best-selling novel Boy Swallows Universe for Netflix with an impressive Australian ensemble including Simon Baker, Phoebe Tonkin, Travis Fimmel and Sophie Wilde. The show received 22 nominations for the 2025 AACTA Awards, the most nominations received by any one show in AACTA’s history.
Prior to launching Brouhaha, producing partners Troy Lum and Andrew Mason were involved in iconic cinema in their native Australia and abroad. Their combined filmography includes The Matrix, Saving Mr Banks, Dark City and The Water Diviner. Upcoming Brouhaha projects include A Talent for Murder, directed by Anton Corbijn, starring the distinguished Helen Mirren and Alden Ehrenreich; and Spa Weekend, directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, starring Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau and Anna Faris.
